Thermostat Housing - engine cooling circuit component for the 3.0L Ingenium six-cylinder petrol engine (AJ20P6 / AJ22P6).

The housing carries the coolant thermostat and forms the junction between the cylinder head coolant outlet and the radiator and heater feed connections, controlling flow through the radiator so the engine reaches and then holds its operating temperature. Supplied as a complete thermostat and housing assembly.

Common failure modes are a leak at the housing or its hose spigots and a thermostat that sticks open or closed, giving slow warm-up, coolant loss or overheating.
