Starter Generator Drive Belt - belt drive for the belt-integrated starter generator on 3.0L Ingenium six-cylinder mild-hybrid (MHEV) engines, petrol (AJ20P6) and diesel (AJ20D6).

Runs between the crankshaft pulley and the starter generator pulley and carries torque in both directions: the starter generator turns the crankshaft to restart the engine and to add torque assist, and the crankshaft drives the generator when recuperating energy into the mild-hybrid battery. That reversing load is why it is a dedicated drive rather than part of the ancillary accessory belt run.

Glazing, rib cracking or slip typically shows as rough or slow stop/start restarts and hybrid system fault messages.
