Piston Ring Set for the 2.0L four-cylinder L-Series diesel engine, standard size.

The rings seal the combustion chamber against the cylinder bore, transfer heat from the piston crown into the bore wall and control the oil film carried up the bore. Worn or broken rings show as loss of compression, crankcase blow-by and raised oil consumption.

Fitted into the piston ring grooves during piston replacement or engine overhaul.
