Coolant Hose between the radiator and the coolant expansion tank.

This is the overflow connection of the cooling system: coolant displaced from the radiator as it heats and expands passes through this hose into the expansion tank, and is drawn back as the system cools and pressure falls. Fitted to the 2.2L CR DI turbo diesel engine.

A perished or split hose at this point causes coolant loss and prevents the system from holding its correct level.
