Frequently asked questions

What is the LR006962LR knuckle and hub assembly?
The LR006962LR is the genuine rear right-hand knuckle and hub assembly for the Freelander 2. It carries the rear wheel bearing and mounts the hub, connecting the suspension arms, driveshaft and brake parts on the RH rear corner.
Which side and model does this fit?
This is the rear right-hand (RH) knuckle and hub assembly for the Freelander 2 (2006-2014). Confirm you need the right-hand rear corner, as the left side uses a different part.
What are the signs a rear hub needs replacing?
Signs of a worn rear hub include a droning or rumbling wheel bearing noise, play at the wheel, or ABS sensor faults. The bearing is integral to this knuckle assembly, so a failed bearing means replacing the unit rather than just the bearing.
