Exhaust Pressure Sensor - the differential pressure sensor of the diesel particulate filter circuit on the 2.2L DOHC turbo diesel.

Two small pipes connect the sensor to tappings upstream and downstream of the particulate filter. By comparing the two pressures the sensor tells the engine management system how much soot the filter is holding, and that reading is what schedules a regeneration cycle.

A blocked sensing pipe or a failed sensor commonly shows as a DPF warning, repeated or aborted regenerations, and reduced power.
