Fuel Injector for the multi-point fuel injection system, mounted in the inlet manifold with its nozzle directed at the back of the inlet valve.

The injector is fed from the fuel rail and opened electromagnetically by the engine management ECU, which meters the injected quantity through the pulse width of the drive signal. Sealing is by an O-ring at the rail and a second at the manifold; nozzle deposits or a perished seal cause uneven idle, misfire and poor cold starting.

Specified for the 2.5 litre KV6 petrol engine.
