Snap-sac trim clip - the push-in plastic fastener that secures interior trim panels to their supporting structure.
The clip passes through a hole in the trim panel and snaps into a matching aperture in the door frame or body panel, holding the panel flush without visible fixings. It is used across front and rear door casings, handbrake lever surrounds, cubby box trim, bodyside trim and headlining panels.
The legs of these clips commonly shear on withdrawal, so they are treated as a consumable and renewed whenever a trim panel is taken off.
