Thermostat housing for the engine cooling system, mounting onto the coolant pump assembly.

The housing carries the thermostat and forms the junction between the pump, the cylinder block coolant outlet and the radiator hose. It directs coolant through the by-pass path while the engine warms up and opens flow to the radiator once operating temperature is reached. Applies to the Td4 2.0L M47 16-valve four-cylinder turbo diesel.
