Idler Pulley for the ancillary drive belt of the 2.5L KV6 petrol engine, in automatic transmission applications with power steering.

The idler runs against the belt without driving an accessory. It sets the belt route and increases the wrap angle on the adjacent pulleys so that the alternator and power steering pump receive sufficient grip.

The sealed bearing is a wear item: roughness, play or noise at the pulley calls for replacement, ideally together with the ancillary drive belt.
