Oil Filler Cap for the engine oil filler neck on the camshaft cover, within the engine lubrication and crankcase ventilation assembly.

The cap seals the filler aperture against oil loss and the ingress of dirt and moisture, and forms part of the sealed crankcase breathing path. A perished or poorly seating cap allows crankcase pressure to escape and oil mist to collect around the cover.

Applies to the M47 2.0L four-cylinder and M57 3.0L six-cylinder diesel engines.
