Windscreen Wash/Wipe Switch - steering column stalk switch controlling the front wiper and washer circuits.
The switch mounts to the column switchgear housing beneath the steering wheel shroud and selects the wiper speed positions, with a separate contact energising the washer pump when the stalk is operated. It feeds the wiper circuit through a multiplug at the base of the column, so a faulty stalk is renewed as a complete switch rather than repaired.
Typical failure symptoms are wiper speeds that will not select or hold, and a washer pump that does not run when the stalk is pulled.
