Driven by the auxiliary drive belt from the crankshaft pulley, the alternator supplies the vehicle's running electrical load and maintains battery state of charge, with the voltage regulator integrated into the unit. The 105 A rating covers the additional draw of the air conditioning compressor clutch and condenser fans.

Confirm the output rating and pulley type on the unit being replaced before fitting.
