In-tank fuel filter for the fuel tank and pump assembly.

The filter sits inside the fuel tank on the pump and sender unit, screening fuel drawn from the tank before it reaches the pump and passes on to the high-pressure delivery line. It protects the pump and the injection system from particulate contamination and from the sediment that accumulates in an ageing tank.

Used on 4.0 litre V8 petrol applications, normally aspirated and supercharged. Renewal requires the tank sender unit to be withdrawn, so the filter is commonly changed alongside fuel pump or sender work.
Fitment Notes JAGUAR ONLY — no Land Rover fitment listed in JLR EPC. In-tank fuel filter (JLR EPC lists it under Fuel Tank sections).
