The LT77 bolts directly to the engine bell housing and drives the LT230 transfer box from its rear output; drive to the axles is taken from the transfer box rather than from the gearbox itself. The unit is supplied as a bare gearbox - the clutch, release mechanism and transfer box are carried over from the vehicle.
