Auxiliary Battery Module for the automatic transmission control circuit, providing the backup power supply for the emergency park engagement function.

The module houses a reserve battery and control electronics. In the event of a main power or system failure it deploys the emergency park engagement feature, supplying reserve power and communication to the transmission control module so the gearbox can select Park, and it manages charging of the reserve battery. Fitted with the automatic transmission.
