Transfer Box Flange (Front) is the front output driving flange of the LT230 transfer box - the splined flange onto which the front propshaft bolts.

It is splined onto the transfer box front output shaft and secured by a centre nut. The flange face carries a pressed-on mud shield and runs against the output shaft oil seal; because a flange worn by the original seal tends to leak against a new one, the flange and its seal are renewed together. It is supplied as a kit with the companion oil seal (FTC4939).

Transmitting drive from the transfer box to the front propshaft, a worn or corroded flange causes oil leaks from the output and play at the propshaft coupling.
