Output Flange Spline Seal for the transfer box. It seals the output shaft where the propshaft drive flange mounts onto the splines, retaining the transfer case oil and keeping dirt and water out of the bearing and spline interface.

Fitted to the front and rear output housings of the transfer box. Renew whenever the drive flange is removed or where oil weeping is found at the output shaft.

What does the RTC6363 transfer box seal do?
The RTC6363 seals the transfer box output shaft where the propshaft drive flange mounts onto the splines. It retains the transfer case oil and keeps dirt and water out of the bearing and spline interface.
How many RTC6363 seals are needed?
On the Range Rover P38 the transfer box uses the RTC6363 at both the front and rear output flanges, so two are needed per vehicle. On Range Rover Classic it's typically used at the front output flange, so check which output you're sealing.
When should the RTC6363 seal be replaced?
Replace the RTC6363 whenever the drive flange is removed or if you find oil weeping at the transfer box output shaft. A worn or hardened seal lets the oil leak past the spline interface, so it's renewed as standard during flange or propshaft work.
