Shift Interlock Nut is a fastener within the gear selector and shift interlock mechanism of the 4-speed automatic transmission.

The shift interlock prevents the selector lever from being moved out of Park unless the brake pedal is applied. This nut retains a component of that mechanism and is supplied as a direct replacement for the original fastener.
