Electronic Parking Brake Actuator for the right-hand rear brake caliper, part of the electronic parking brake (EPB) system.

The actuator is a self-contained electric motor and gear unit mounted directly on the rear caliper. On command from the EPB module it drives the caliper piston to clamp the pads against the disc, applying and releasing the parking brake electrically in place of a mechanical cable.
