Lock and Seal - medium-strength anaerobic threadlocking and sealing compound, supplied in a 10 ml bottle.

Applied to the threads of nuts, bolts and studs before assembly, it cures in the absence of air inside the closed joint, locking the fastener against vibration loosening and sealing the thread against fluid ingress. Medium strength means the joint can still be broken with ordinary hand tools, so it suits fasteners that are expected to come apart again at service intervals rather than permanent assemblies.

It works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminium and plated finishes, and tolerates minor contamination from engine oil, corrosion-preventive oil and cutting fluid, so threads do not have to be cleaned back to bare dry metal before assembly.
