Brake master cylinder for vehicles fitted with the four-wheel anti-lock braking system. It sits in the brake hydraulic circuit between the brake servo and the ABS modulator.

Pedal effort applied through the servo pushrod is converted into hydraulic pressure at the cylinder outlets. The ABS modulator then meters that pressure to the individual wheel circuits during a wheel-slip event.

The hydraulic system must be bled and pedal travel checked after fitting.
