Brake Booster Repair Kit covering the vacuum servo unit that sits between the brake pedal pushrod and the master cylinder in the hydraulic braking circuit.

The servo multiplies pedal effort before it reaches the master cylinder, using the pressure differential between engine vacuum and atmospheric pressure acting across an internal diaphragm. This reduces the pedal load needed to develop a given line pressure. A servo with a perished diaphragm, a failed valve seat or an internal vacuum leak produces a hard, high pedal and increased stopping distances.

The kit is supplied as the servo assembly complete with the O-ring and the master cylinder fixing nuts required to remount the master cylinder to the servo face.

The master cylinder must be detached to renew the servo, and the hydraulic circuit bled after refitting.
