Coolant leaving the engine passes through the radiator core, where airflow entering the front of the vehicle - assisted by the cooling fan at low road speed - carries the heat away before the coolant returns to the water pump and back through the engine. The radiator works in circuit with the thermostat, expansion tank and coolant hoses, and its top and bottom hose connections set the flow direction through the core.

Specified for the 3.2 and 4.0 litre V8 petrol engines.
