Radiator Assembly - the main coolant radiator in the engine cooling system, for the 3.0 Td6 six-cylinder turbo diesel (M57).

Coolant leaving the engine passes through the radiator core, where airflow drawn across the fins sheds the heat before the coolant returns to the water pump. The assembly comprises the core, the plastic end tanks and the hose and mounting points for this installation.

End-tank crimp seams and hose necks are the usual failure points on radiators of this construction, and a core that is internally silted cannot hold coolant temperature under sustained load. Renew the hoses, clips and coolant when the radiator is changed and refill following the correct bleed procedure.
