Radiator Hose - engine to radiator coolant hose in the cooling system of the 4.4 AJ-V8 petrol engine (220 kW EFI).

It carries coolant from the engine outlet to the radiator, where heat is transferred to the airflow through the cooling pack before the coolant returns to the engine. The hose is moulded to the original routing so it clears the surrounding drive and cooling components without strain on either connection.

A hose that has gone hard or shows crazing near the clamped ends is at the end of its service life; renew it while the system is drained rather than after refilling.
