Snatch Ring rated at 15 tonne minimum breaking strength (MBS), used to redirect the winch line or to double the effective line pull.

A soft shackle passes through the machined groove and around the anchor point, and the winch rope runs over the polished radius of the ring. With no bearings, side plates or moving parts it is substantially lighter than a pulley block and has nothing to seize or wear out in mud and water. It is intended for use with synthetic winch rope.

Typical applications are doubling the line pull for a heavy recovery, and changing the direction of pull where the anchor point is off the vehicle centre line.
