Winch Extension Strap - 20 m x 80 mm webbing strap rated at 11000 kg, used to extend the effective reach of a winch line.

The strap is non-stretch and forms a hard connection between the winch rope and a remote anchor point. It is deployed when the casualty vehicle or the only usable anchor sits beyond the length of the winch cable.

Supplied in purple webbing so it is readily distinguished from kinetic (snatch) straps in a recovery kit. Because it stores no energy it must not be substituted for a kinetic recovery strap.
