Brake Pad - friction pad for the rear disc brake assembly.

Mounted in the rear brake caliper, the pad is forced against the brake disc by the caliper piston and provides the friction surface that slows the rear axle. The backing plate shape and friction compound are matched to the caliper the pad is designed for.

Renew pads on both sides of the axle together and check the condition of the disc faces and caliper guides during fitting.
