Accessory Drive Belt - ribbed serpentine belt for the front-end accessory drive of the 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine.
Driven from the crankshaft pulley, it turns the engine-mounted ancillaries and is held under load by an automatic tensioner. The naturally aspirated engine uses a different belt length and pulley routing from the supercharged version of the same engine family, so the two belts are not interchangeable.
Check the ribbed face for glazing, cracking across the ribs and missing rib material at each service, and confirm the tensioner and idler pulleys turn freely before fitting a new belt.
