Oil Filter is the engine oil filtration element within the lubrication system, removing wear particles and contaminants from the oil before it circulates through the engine.

It traps debris carried in the pressurised oil feed, protecting the bearings, camshafts and other lubricated surfaces. Fitted to the 4.4L V8 and 4.2L V8 supercharged petrol engines and renewed as part of routine oil-service intervals.
