Spark Plug for the AJ-V8 petrol engine ignition system, of double platinum construction.

Platinum is applied to both the centre and the ground electrode. This resists the electrode erosion that progressively widens the spark gap in service, so the plug holds its specified gap and firing voltage over a substantially longer interval than a conventional nickel-alloy plug.

Eight plugs are required for a complete V8 engine. Plugs should be renewed as a full set so that every cylinder runs the same gap and heat range; mixing service-worn and new plugs produces uneven combustion across the banks and can register as a misfire fault.
Fitment Notes JAGUAR ONLY — no Land Rover fitment found on JLR EPC or AllMakes.
