The plug threads into the cylinder head and is fired through the HT lead from the ignition coil, delivering the spark that ignites the compressed air and fuel charge in the combustion chamber. Fitted to the 2.0 litre 4-cylinder T-Series MPi petrol engine.

Spark plugs are a service item and are replaced as a complete set, so that every cylinder runs the same electrode condition and gap. Check the electrode gap against the engine specification before fitting and torque the plugs to specification rather than over-tightening them.
