Power Steering Pump - belt-driven hydraulic pump forming the pressure source of the power assisted steering circuit.

Mounted on the engine and driven from the auxiliary drive belt, the pump delivers pressurised fluid through the high pressure feed hose to the rack and pinion steering gear, with a low pressure return line carrying fluid back to the reservoir. An integral pressure relief valve limits maximum system pressure and protects the hoses and rack seals.

Specified for the 4.2L supercharged and 4.4L naturally aspirated V8 petrol engines. Supplied as a complete pump assembly.
