Anti-Roll Bar Bush - rear stabiliser (anti-roll) bar mounting bush within the rear suspension assembly.

The bush clamps the rear anti-roll bar to the vehicle body, locating the bar while allowing it to rotate as the suspension articulates. It transmits the bar's torsional resistance to the chassis to control body roll during cornering. A worn or perished bush lets the bar move in its mounting, producing knocking noises over uneven surfaces and reducing roll stability.

Frequently asked questions

What is the LR033239 rear anti-roll bar bush for?
The LR033239 is the rear stabiliser (anti-roll) bar mounting bush for the Range Rover L405 and Range Rover Sport L494. It clamps the bar to the body, locating it while allowing rotation as the suspension articulates, and transmits the bar's roll resistance to the chassis during cornering.
Should both rear bushes be replaced together?
Yes, the rear anti-roll bar is held by a bush on each side, so replacing both together keeps roll control even on the Range Rover L405 or Range Rover Sport L494. Fitting one new and one worn bush can leave uneven bar location and lingering noise.
What happens when this bush wears out?
A worn or perished LR033239 bush lets the rear bar move in its mounting, producing knocking noises over bumps and reducing roll stability on the Range Rover L405 or Sport L494. The rubber hardens and cracks with age, so renewing restores secure bar location.
