Front Anti-Roll Bar Link - connecting link between the anti-roll bar and the front suspension, within the front suspension assembly group.

The link transmits the difference in vertical movement between the left and right front wheels into the anti-roll bar, loading the bar in torsion so that it resists body roll. Its pivoting ends allow the link to articulate as the suspension moves through its travel.

Wear in the link ends is heard as a knock or rattle from the front suspension over uneven surfaces and reduces roll stiffness.

Frequently asked questions

What is the MJA2105 anti-roll bar link?
The MJA2105 is a front anti-roll bar link that connects the anti-roll bar to the front suspension. It transmits the difference in vertical wheel movement into the bar, loading it in torsion to resist body roll. It fits the Jaguar XK8 (X100) and XJ (X308).
How many anti-roll bar links are needed?
There's one front anti-roll bar link per side, so a full job uses two. They're usually replaced in pairs so both ends of the bar are located equally, keeping roll control balanced across the front of the XK8 or XJ.
What are the signs of a worn anti-roll bar link?
A worn anti-roll bar link typically knocks or rattles over bumps and through corners as the ball joints develop play. Body roll and vague steering feel can increase too. Replacing the links restores tight roll control on the Jaguar XK8 or XJ front suspension.
