Anti-Roll Bar Mounting Bush for the rear anti-roll bar mounting assembly.

The bush locates the anti-roll bar inside its mounting clamp on the rear subframe, allowing the bar to rotate as the suspension articulates while isolating it from the body structure. It sets the effective mounting stiffness of the bar, so a perished or split bush lets the bar move laterally in its clamp - producing knocking over uneven surfaces and a measurable loss of roll resistance.

The bushes are fitted as a pair on the bar and are best replaced together, with the mounting clamps checked for distortion at the same time.
