Wishbone Bush - front suspension, upper and lower wishbone pivot mounting.

The bush locates in the wishbone eye and carries the pivot bolt, tying the arm to its mounting while allowing the wishbone to swing through suspension travel. Its rubber element absorbs road inputs and isolates suspension noise and vibration from the body structure.

As the rubber perishes or delaminates the arm gains free play, which shows up as wandering wheel alignment, imprecise steering and knock over uneven surfaces. Bushes are normally renewed across an axle at the same time so suspension behaviour stays even side to side.
