Rear suspension bump stop - part of the rear damper and coil spring assembly.

The moulded rubber bump stop fits over the shock absorber piston rod, above the damper body. It limits rear suspension travel on compression, taking up the final part of the stroke progressively so the damper does not bottom out and the loads fed into the body structure are cushioned.

Two are fitted per vehicle, one at each rear corner.
