It draws in and compresses atmospheric air and delivers it to the air springs to inflate them and adjust or maintain ride height, with an integral air dryer that removes moisture before the air enters the system. This is an AMK-type compressor.

Supplied as a complete assembly including the compressor, air dryer, covers, mounting bracket and wiring.
