Front Spring and Damper Top Mount - upper mounting for the front spring and damper assembly, part of the front suspension assembly group.

The mount bolts to the body at the top of the front damper turret and carries the upper end of the damper rod together with the upper spring seat. Its rubber mounting element isolates suspension noise and vibration from the body shell while allowing the damper rod to articulate as the suspension moves.

Deterioration of the rubber element produces chatter or knocking from the front of the vehicle and a loose feel to the front suspension. The same mount is used on the left and right sides.
