Front Suspension Damper - the telescopic damper of the front road spring and damper assembly, in the specification used on 6.0L V12 applications.

It locates at its lower end on the front suspension lower wishbone and at its upper end in the body-side damper turret, working inside the front road spring to control spring oscillation and keep the tyre loaded through compression and rebound. Valving is matched to the higher front-axle loading of the V12 installation and is not interchangeable with the six-cylinder specification.

Replace dampers in axle pairs so that damping stays balanced side to side. The upper mounting isolator (MMD2144AA) is a common companion renewal.
