Front Shock Absorber - the telescopic damper of the front road spring and damper assembly, in the sport-calibrated specification for 6.0L V12 applications.

It locates at its lower end on the front suspension lower wishbone and at its upper end in the body-side damper turret, working inside the front road spring to control spring oscillation and keep the tyre loaded through compression and rebound. Valving is matched both to the higher front-axle loading of the V12 installation and to the firmer sport calibration, so it is not interchangeable with the standard comfort unit.

Replace dampers in axle pairs so that damping stays balanced side to side. The upper mounting isolator (MMD2144AA) is a common companion renewal.
