Rear Shock Absorber - hydraulic telescopic damper for the rear suspension, part of the rear road spring and damper assembly.

The damper mounts between the rear suspension lower arm and the body-side upper mounting, working in parallel with the road spring to control wheel movement and damp body oscillation. This unit carries the valving specified for cars built with the comfort suspension setting; cars with the sports suspension package or supercharged running gear take a differently valved damper.

Supplied as a single damper. Renew in axle pairs so that left and right damping characteristics stay matched.
