Power Steering Pipe - Pump to Steering Box - the high-pressure feed line of the power-assisted steering hydraulic circuit.

It carries pressurised fluid from the power steering pump outlet to the steering box input, and is pre-formed to follow the factory routing across the engine bay so that it locates in its retaining clips.

Because it sits on the pressure side of the circuit, the crimped end unions and the flexible section are the usual origin of steering fluid loss and of heavy or intermittent assistance. For petrol engine installations with factory power assistance. Bleed the circuit and check the fluid level after fitting.
