Front Shock Absorber - Monotube Gas Pressure - front suspension damper of monotube construction.

The damper controls the rate at which the front suspension compresses and rebounds, damping the coil spring so the wheel follows the ground rather than continuing to oscillate after an input.

In a monotube design the oil and the pressurised nitrogen are contained in a single tube and kept apart by a floating piston. Because the gas cannot mix into the oil, the fluid does not aerate under sustained work, so damping stays consistent on rough ground and under load. The single-tube body also sheds heat more readily than a twin-tube unit.

Replace in axle pairs so damping is matched across the axle.
