Shock Gassing Check Hose & Gauge - servicing tool for checking and recharging the nitrogen charge in remote-reservoir shock absorbers and gas bump stops.

It comprises a gassing hose, an inline pressure gauge and a filler chuck that engages the reservoir valve, and is used with a small nitrogen bottle. The chuck releases from the valve rapidly once the target pressure is reached so that little gas is lost on disconnection.

Charge pressure may differ between front and rear units but should be matched side to side. Refit the reservoir valve cap after gassing to keep dust and dirt out of the valve. Terrafirma specify checking nitrogen pressure every 10,000 miles for optimum damper performance.
