The timing belt synchronises the crankshaft with the camshaft and the injection pump drive, and the tensioner sets and maintains belt tension across the belt run. The 200Tdi timing drive is not interchangeable with the later 300Tdi or Td5 arrangement.

This kit contains the timing belt and the tensioner.
