The oil seal seals the differential on the E.N.V. axle, keeping axle oil in and contaminants out at the diff. It is a leather-type seal fitted to the Series Land Rover E.N.V. differential.
Will this seal fit the Rover-type axle?
No. This seal fits the E.N.V. differential only and won't fit the Rover-type axle. The two axles use different seals, so confirm your Series Land Rover has the E.N.V. axle before ordering, as the wrong seal will leak.
