Frequently asked questions

What does the DA2386G rear wheel bearing kit include?
The DA2386G overhauls one rear hub on the ABS-equipped Range Rover Classic. It contains the inner and outer taper roller bearings, hub seals, a flange gasket, flange bolts, a lock tab and bearing grease. It fits either rear side, and one kit services a single wheel.
Is this the ABS or non-ABS rear kit?
This is the rear kit for ABS-equipped Range Rover Classics. Vehicles without ABS take a different rear bearing kit, so check your brake system before ordering. Matching the correct version keeps the hub and wheel speed sensor working as intended.
How many kits for both rear wheels?
One DA2386G kit does a single rear wheel, so a full rear axle needs two. Renewing both sides at once is normal, as the bearings wear at a matching rate. Order two kits for a complete rear axle overhaul on the Range Rover Classic.
When should the rear wheel bearings be replaced?
Rear wheel bearings usually need renewing when a speed-related rumble appears or the wheel shows play by hand. A neglected bearing can overheat and, on ABS cars, disturb the wheel speed sensor. Grease is included to pack the new bearings on assembly.
